Objective To construct a domain knowledge graph of dementia care,so as to provide the foundation and guarantee for the next intelligent application based on the knowledge graph. Methods A top-down approach was adopted to construct a domain knowledge graph of dementia care. Firstly, the ontology concept is constructed from the top level, namely the schema layer of knowledge graph. Then, instances are filled, and knowledge extraction is carried out from the existing data sources, and the extracted entities and relationships are filled into the pattern layer ontology database to complete the data layer construction of the knowledge graph. Finally, the “entity relationship entity” triplet data was input into the Neo4j graph database for storage. Results In this study, the personalized care plan set of 1 012 dementia cases was used as the corpus to construct a domain knowledge graph of dementia care. The knowledge graph takes people with dementia as the core, and unfolds, one by one, around basic characteristics, care problems, and care plans in a standardized “entity-relationship-entity” triplet format, forming a large knowledge network, which contains a total of 1 522 specific dementia care knowledge entities and 8 kinds of inter-entity relationships. Conclusion The domain knowledge graph of dementia care constructed in this study clearly and intuitively shows the global pedigree and logical path of knowledge, which provides an efficient and intelligent basic guarantee for the browsing, retrieval and application of dementia care knowledge,so as to realize personalized and intelligent management of people with dementia, break through the bottleneck of lack of professionals, improve the health outcomes of people with dementia, promote the implementation of inclusive pension services, and promote healthy aging.

WANG Zhiwen, HAN Shuyu
Chinese Journal of Nursing    2024, 59 (3): 267-270.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.0254-1769.2024.03.002

The number of expert consensus publications has been increasing year by year as an industry guidance document. However, due to the lack of unified reporting guidelines and methodological standards, the current published expert consensuses in nursing exhibit inconsistent writing formats and varying quality. This article combines the quality evaluation points for expert opinions from the Jonna Briggs Institute in Australia, focusing on 6 aspects, covering the authority of the expert team, clarity of viewpoint expression, adequacy of evidence-based foundation, standardization of the consensus-reaching process, taking into account of interests of relevant research populations, and the potential for application in specific clinical settings. These points are introduced as review criteria for expert consensus papers, aiming to provide references for improving the quality and standardization of expert consensus papers in the future.

Chinese Journal of Nursing    2021, 56 (7): 1044-1048.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.0254-1769.2021.07.014

Objective This study aimed to describe the behavioral and environmental patterns of getting lost among community-dwelling older adults with dementia. Methods Using the phenomenology method,we conducted semi-structured interviews on 16 family caregivers of older adults with dementia who got lost and 9 volunteers with experience of searching for lost dementia patients. Then,we analyzed the interview data using a Colaizzi’s phenomenological approach. Results We identified several behavioral patterns related to getting lost, including the elderly wanted to go back home/companies/other meaningful places or they got excited easily before straying and getting lost, and the elderly were in an activated state, following others while walking, got injured, dressed untidy, and acted illegally when they were lost. Moreover, environmental factors were also identified in this analysis, including caregiver factors(caregivers were sleeping or busy with other things)and place factors (the place tended to have a complex transportation system or the elderly changed their apartments). Conclusion To prevent the elderly from getting lost, caregivers need to identify their abnormal behaviors and take control of these factors to prevent their getting lost. If straying happens, caregivers and volunteers may search for the elderly in a purposeful way by behavioral and environmental patterns.

The effectiveness of compression therapy with pneumatic compression devices on wound healing in patients with venous ulcers:a meta analysis
LI Fei,NAN Fang,DANG Yun,GAI Tiantian,LI Yue,WANG Zhiwen
Chinese Journal of Nursing    2021, 56 (6): 929-933.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.0254-1769.2021.06.022
Abstract352)   HTML1)    PDF (631KB)(4)       Save

Objective To evaluate the effect of pneumatic compression devices and short stretch bandages compression therapy on wound healing in patients with leg venous ulcer. Methods Databases such as the Cochrane Library,PubMed,CINAHL,Web of Science,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM database were searched up to January 20,2021 for randomized controlled trials(RCTs) on the effectiveness of pneumatic compression devices and short stretch bandages compression therapy on wound healing in patients with venous ulcers. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,2 researches independently screened each database, extracted data, and assessed the methodological quality of included studies. RevMan 5.3 software was used for meta analysis. Results 6 RCT studies involving 350 patients were included. The meta analysis showed that there was no significant difference of the pneumatic compression devices compared with the short stretch bandage for compression therapy in wound healing rate [RR=0.88,95%CI(0.71,1.09),P=0.25],change of ulcer size[MD=-3.22,95%CI(-6.73,0.28),P=0.07],rate of healing[SMD=1.45,95%CI(-0.31,3.21),P=0.11],and adverse event[RR=0.55,95%CI(0.08,3.75),P=0.54]. Conclusion Compression therapy for leg venous ulcer patients with pneumatic compression devices can achieve similar effects with short stretch bandage on wound healing rate, change of ulcer size, rate of healing, and adverse event. As all the studies included in this meta-analysis are foreign literature, pilot trials with small samples can be carried out in the future to further evaluate the applicability and feasibility of pneumatic compression therapy in leg venous ulcer patient in China.

Objective To identify the core components and application status of internet-based interventions for family care of older people with dementia,so as to provide guidance for future research. Methods This scoping review was conducted under the Joanna Briggs Institute guidelines. A literature search was performed in the PubMed,Embase,CINAHL,Web of Science,PsycINFO,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang, and CBM databases to identify relevant studies. The included studies were summarized and analyzed. Results A total of 31 articles were included. The core components of internet-based interventions included the provision of information and care skills guidance, peer support, contact with professionals,decision-making support, psychological support, and self-care guidance. The outcome types were mainly the effect evaluation and feasibility evaluation of interventions. Conclusion Internet-based interventions have positive effects on family caregivers of dementia patients, and the personalized internet-based interventions combined with multiple components are more favored by family caregivers. Future research should combine the hierarchical medical system and artificial intelligence decision-making technology, explore the strategy of realizing personalized support in the context of “Internet + nursing service”.
